The Tops And Flops Of App New York Sup Open | Fantasy Sup Review

Top & Flop APP New York Sup Open

Welcome to the Top & Flop news of Fantasy Sup, where you can find a report about APP New York Sup Open and its protagonists.

THE TOPS

Candice Appleby is back. Great performance from the Sup Queen of California. After looking down in the first part of the season, Candice "felt resurrected" as she said in her interview below. Great performance and also good to see a champion on the top again. She's quoted 17.000.000 $ from Fantasy Sup, if you have chosen her the high price reached the highest result.

"I feel resurrected. I am really happy with where I am right now, especially with the results from this week. I'm looking forward to flying home and get to training for the PPG's which happen in a couple of weeks." Candice Appleby

Connor Baxter. If Candice can be considered as the Queen of SUP, with no doubt Connor is the King. After ten victorious years of paddling, in 2018 Connor has been more focused on his private life. But in New York the king came back to the throne with a stellar performance. Connor's price in Fantasy Sup is 20.000.000 $, with Michael Booth he's the most expensive paddler, but it's worth the investment.

"Feels so good to get a win again! This year I have been learning to focus on what’s important in life and that winning isn’t everything. It takes a few hard races to really make you appreciate it again! I love what I do but there’s going to be good days and bad days, days when I don’t feel like paddling and many more loses that teach me much more than a win ever will. Right now I am just focusing on the moment and enjoying the process. These past 10 years of racing are only the beginning and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this sport." Connor Baxter

THE SURPRISES

The APP New York Sup Open gave us some new names to watch in the SUP panorama. Giannisa Vecco from Perù debuts in APP with an amazing third place in the Sprint Race that gave her the fifth position overall. She's been added in the Fantasy Sup paddler list and now she's quoted 7.000.000 $ after this great performance.

Tyler Bashor, the young gun from California, got a great top 10 and took some big names scalps. He's able to reach the final in the Sprint Race where he finished 8th after an intense battle. Tyler's value on Fantasy Sup is 7.000.000 $ but we are sure it will grow in the next races.

THE FLOPS

It's hard to find flops in an event like this. The level is such high that everybody has pushed strongly in stormy condition. Our idea about flops today is that any professional paddlers not present in New York City in the last days have made a flop. But the Pacific Paddle Games is less than three weeks ahead and we hope to see all the best SUP racers there. Set your line up for PPG now.
